Will you just look at all this right wing stuff that was signed by our president in recent times.

• Telecom Reform Act: eliminated major ownership restrictions for radio and television groups.
• Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act, a welfare reform bill
• authorized $100 million counter-terrorism agreement with Israel to track down and root out terrorists.
• Line Item Veto Act
• Anti-Terrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act
• Defense of Marriage Act, allowed states to refuse recognition of certain same-sex marriages, and defined marriage as between a male and female for purposes of federal law
• Digital Millennium Copyright Act
• Iraq Liberation Act

I don't think the line-item veto act ever got out of committee.

Same with the "Defense of marriage" act.

Those two make me very suspicious of the rest of the list.

I would agree that he wanted all of them, but don't think he got them all.

and there ya have it, there is no civil war in Iraq cause they did not vote for it and now its against US law.
the counter-terrorism bill is just another welfare handout.
according to the report out 2 days ago violent crime is up in all major cities and the police group spokesman said it was due to funding cuts to support HSL and counter terrorism instead of real crimes on US soil.
I am with JB on this, looks like more of the same.
think Ill call the VA again and see if money money is avalible yet, so far for 18 years its not and I have had to hire an attorney to push it.
seems the funding aint there.

Amazing how the media has effected all of us.

So many of us assumed this was GWB legislation.

Why is it that Clinton can sign these laws and come out smelling like a rose, but Bush signs similar laws and he is a right wing nut job?

like I said more of thge same, I did not care for clinton much at all. however like GWB he did a few things right. like fireing those surronding him that gave bad advice.
Clinton had the chance to go down in history as a great president, he blew it. or was it it got blown ?
GWB had the same chance as well. maybe even a greater chance. and totally muffed it.
both will go down in history as buffooons.
yet both will get a library
