Have a 1985 32 Foot Wellcraft with 454/350 HP. I understand that the shafts are supposed to drip water as a lubricant. Can someone tell me how often they are supposed to drip. 1 drip per minute or??
I normally shoot for about 10 drops per minute depending on which packing was used, there are some dripless packings avaible as well as some dripless water cooled stuffing box's.
