lower unit exchange

I have a Merc 800 full gear shift 1961 without a lower unit.
I was wondering if a 1964 650 merc lower unit would fit?

The 800 is a six and the 650 is a 4 cyl but not sure that matters.

Does anyone know of a conversion/exchange chart.

The 800 full gear shift was a prop exhaust.

They will exchange but may have a little differant gear ratio
