Where is my Member #???????

I'm sorry I haven't been around much lately and I like the new format but there is something missing I was pretty proud of. Its my member number. I was a 4 digit. now I cant even find it.:%

Do you see anyone's member number in the new format? It does say when we joined, but the numbers are history.

I joined about a week after the change, but had been reading them for about a month before that. I never heard about no stinken' member number. Can someone fill me in?

When you joined, you were given a number.
Your name could be changed, but your number was always the same.

I used to have a nice list containing the member's numbers, of members that had great technical posts.

You could search by the member number and pull up the post you wanted to reference.

It was a great tool.

Now it is gone.
I threw my list away.

iboats dropped the member number thing due to identity theft. Too many people were stealing member number's and going out and charging up a storm!!!

I have been a little busy after our site got hacked in June. Destroyed the whole thing after being open for over a year and a half. Had to start from scratch and we are only about half way to where we were but we will get there.
But I have to say its nice to come home to iboats every now and then.8)
