wont start

Hi my name is Dwayne I just gut a 1963 Lone Star Triton and it came wit a 75 Hp power Johnson same year. Problem 1 it won’t start from the ignition when I turn the key. But when I brig the starter it turns. Any ideas? Problem 2 I’m not getting any spark from my spark plugs when I turn the engine over. The engine is a v4. Again any help would be greatly appreciated. go to the engine faq forum. there is a post engine won't start. go thru it first, also Awakening a Sleeping outboard. i have a 1960 LoneStar Commander.

I got my engine to turn over but it won’t spark on any one of my cylinder. I pull them out one by one and tested them for spark. If any one can give me a little more info or help that would be great.
