What passes for news today is disgusting. We should probably run investingations into all elected officials to see if they told a racist, sexist, homosexual, fat chick, religious (not including christians), or any other "protected" group the left deems superior, joke and or comment. We should immediately begin lie detector testing.

What is the point? He was like 23. 30 YEARS AGO!!!! It's not like he was a member of the KKK. (Which is ok if you are, well you know) Even if he did, who cares. Thirty years before he was president, Reagan was a democrat. When I was younger I used words, that the left wing thought police would have me castrated over. But hey, I was a teenage mind full of mush, liberal democrat back then. I guess I can never hold office.

How exactly is this news? It is not current. It doesn't apply to any issues he is addressing. THIS IS FRONT PAGE NEWS TO THE MSM. Honestly, can anyone remember to the day, time and content to any conversation they had in college thirty years ago? How exactly could anyone respond to an accusation of a non-crime, a word they are accused of speaking thirty years prior? And what does it say about the accusers?

George Allen is a potential republican candidate for the presidency.It just turned out that his ancestry is jewish,which put him in the limelight.What is better for the ratings than a pork chop loving ,dont want to be jewish,bigot? The democratic left wing smells blood and works the old adage that it is best to kill your enemy when he is little.The career seeking journalists smell their fifteen minutes of fame.The networks can sell some more advertizement thanks to this guy.

pointer I have to agree, what someone did as a football jock in college 30 years ago is mostly irrelavent today.
best I recall there was a senator from west by gaw VA that actually recuited for the KKK.
folks age, they tend to change, some actually get older and wiser instead of just older.
so no I cant get bent cause someone made a racial joke or comment 30 years ago.
it is all just a media sell-a-thon anyway.

Yeah, thirty years is a long time. The maturity and outlook on life one has at early adult hood vs. what you have when you've been around the block a few time is very different.

This is much ado about nothing.

Kind of like smoking weed while in college, just one of those things that happens that makes no real difference in the world you wind up in thirty years later.

I agree, history is just that, It's history. 2, 5, 20, or 30 years ago is irrelevant. However, just because it's history does not mean his views have changed. Rather than assume they have, allow him to erase all doubt.
