tilt/trim hydranlic leak 91 /90hp yamaha tlrp

the trim motor sounds and run good but hydranlic fluid is leaking somewhere . a friend told me I might need to replace to the seals and gaskets on the trim motor .has anyone ever done this work on there outboard?

Close observation should make it easy to identify the source of the leak. Then helpful suggestions would be possible.

mr ray the unit is in need of new o.rings seals ,gaskets sorry it took so long to get back to you. been very busy . I got a new post on this matter. any advice would be very helpful. Dann

Had one of mine rebuilt at a local hydraulic shop. Far less expensive than the marina. Works fine. HOPE THIS HELPS.

badlar what was the name of the place you had it done at? if you still can remember it would to helpful, maybe i can ship it to them to fix it if the $$ is right

This is where I had mine rebuilt. You would probably be better off finding a hydraulic shop in your area.
