Leaking Front Seal?

There is traceable ammounts of gear oil in my U-joint bellows. Is this a leaking front seal? If so how hard is this to do? I'd like to do it myself if possible. Thank You - Logan

Yes, that is the only place in the bellows that could allow gear lube in.

If so how hard is this to do?
That depends on what kind of drive it is. You didn't say in your post.

They aren't that hard, if you have the manual, and the special tools and are mechanically inclined, understand basic tool usage, and can follow instructions.
I think they are very easy to do, but I do them for a living and do many a year. My wife, on the other hand, if I put here in front of my bench, with every special tool, every training tape and video, all the service manuals, all my tools, and me standing there giving advise, couldn't do the job.
So for me to say "Yes, you can do it" would be crazy on my part. What you need to do is get the manual (Link for the free online one below) and study it and determine if you have the abilitiies or not.
