What Alpha One Model ?

I'm trying to find out what model Alpha One I have?
The year is 1986.
I'm also trying to find out the gear ratio?
Any help would be appreciated.

I saw an old posting on how to find the gear ratio but I'm not sure on the model?
The original motor was a 5.7 liter.

If it's Original,.......You Should have an Alpha 1,... with a 1.5/1 ratio.........

What's the serial number of your drive.

I think bond-o is right as the numbers are 1 50 B, at least that's what it looks like to me.
The serial number looks like OB415926.
The drive should be vintage 1986.

Yep, it's an Alpha I. Here is a link to the free online manual if you don't have one. With a SN, you can be sure that some previous owner didn't change it to an older drive. It's been done, trust me.

Thanks for the link but I couldn't find my outdrive listed.
What does that mean?
The # is OB415926.

It's an Alpha I and it fits in the 1:50:1 range of 0A479507 and Above doesn't it?
The next step up is an Alpha I Gen II, which you don't have.

Can I figure then that it is the original 1986 outdrive?
