60 hp 3 cyl mariner with no spark

I have a 60 hp 3 cyl mariner with no spark, ser no
7212753... any ideas on what to check... I've heard it's the switchbox and I've heard its the stator or the kill switch... all 3 plugs don't fire at all... where and how should I check first

check emergency stop circuit
could be ignition switch

get a manual is the best thing
