Could somebody please define what a soul is?

The soul is the that which consists of a man's emotions, intellect and will. The ability to think, reason and most importantly, the free will to choose.

I'd say no, because it was created by the hands of man.

And from where did man get the things his hands used to create with?

To answer the question, Yes. cloning would not be possible except for the will of Tom Cruise...I mean God.

I sometimes refer to you as Mr. Kopek, Mr. Kopek. If you put Mr. in front of your last post you got mine. Thanks for the recognition . . . ;)

I think souls are like liquor licenses in the state of California. There are only so many to go around so people have to get creative about how to share them.

Seems to me you'd have to first prove the existence of God, then define his intentions before you tackle whether a clone would have a soul.... all without circular reasoning.... good luck .

First you have to prove that regular people have souls.

If the cloned person curses and swears alot and you push him off a tall building to silence him are you making an obscene clone fall?

Is your question pushing it over the top? 8)

So a "brain dead" quadraplegic has no soul?
