Keep in mind folks, I'm an excellent "parts changer" NOT a mechanic.
Shes a 03' Yamaha 90HP 4 Stroke thats spent 4 days in the Bay (Brackish water). BTW it wasn't running when submerged. Apon recovery I wasn't able to rig immediately more importantly start her up. She sat for 2 days, but not alone! I spent alot of time cleaning up all the parts and keeping them well lubed. This intaled turning the flywheel in gear and complete removal of all 4 carbs, plugs, oil ect. Once rigged, finally, (long 2 days of sweat, blood and nail bitting) She fired right up (With some help with starting fluid)
Problem is...starts hard still, idles well, stalls quickly when the throttles engauged, but seems to run fine @ WOT.
I checked the fuel lines to see if fuel was properly being dispersed. Under idle it spirts out (off and on, consistantly, not sure if thats normal).
My diagnosis is it SHOULDN'T be deliverly of fuel and most defiantly isn't your run of the mill "water in fuel" problem.
Please help and send me in SOME direction...I'll be here PATIENTLY waiting...
