HIV positive too! Hmmm...... do I see a sudden increase in HIV + male prisoners.... That is a tough call.... either way the prison system is the loser regardless of which side.

It makes no sense to send him to a female prison. Every Tom, **** and Harry that gets sent to prison will be screaming they are a female and should go to a female prison.

I have a cousin that was a guard at a max security prison for a lot of years. Per cous, more inmates than you can image do crimes with guaranteed long sentences just so that they can get ‘the surgery’. The state is obligated to pay all cost for the surgery, counseling, hormones, etc for any prisoner with sexual identity issues. Taxpayers for paying for a lot of transgender surgeries…and it’s all confidential medical whatever.

Passing bad checks stinks.It is however not a violent crime.It is more like a white collar crime.
I say sent him/her to a white collar crime (minimum security )male prison with choice of solitairy quarters.
The reason being that the punishment should fit the crime and this crime does not justify being raped for the next two years.

Besides he has aids and will be in solitary for his own protection. But then, love does work in strange ways.

No. Picking a religion is a personal choice. Transgender issues are well defined, tho not entirely understood, by chemical differences in a person’s body and related personality abnormalities. What to do about it is a personal choice.

Keep in mind that everyone starts off as female until some change into males while still developing fetus. Perhaps something goes wrong during that change that doesn’t entire complete yielding a male that is also chemically part female. And you believe that would be a personal choice?!? What about a hermaphrodite, to you is that also a personal choice?!?

Btw, ‘ignorance’ and ‘mean’ are both personal choices.
