Ok, I measured my engine mounting holes today. The top 2 hole are 1.5 inches from the top of the plate. The bottom 2 holes are exactly 2 inches from the top 2 holes. So If I move the engine up to the top holes the av-plate is going to be 2.5 inches above the bottom of the boat. Is that to much? It just seems that if I move the engine up to the top holes that 2 5/16 bolts wont be enough to hold the motor. What do you think.

I was trying to attach a picture , so you could get an idea of where Im at. But I guess it didnt show up
