Surprised you missed that one Tom.

That's that all girl C&W group that did a little freelance "Bush Bashing" a few years ago while doing a concert over in England I believe it was. They got dumped into the popularity sewer for a while but have slowly been coming back.

I also would like to know why they never made it to the JohnBoy and Billy show.d

The dimpsy chinks get five nominations for grammies, and Kofi Annon got the nobel prize. And Hanoi jane gets an occasional movie role.

Morning radio show Techno....comes out of North Carolina (I think). Broadcast on Clear Channel Network. Couple southern boys and some characters to give you a morning chuckle or two. Lot of nascar and stuff. They have had some fairly noted guests...Dolly Parton, Tom Clancy.....just to name a couple. Just fun to listen to.

It Seems that the Chicks got five Grammy nominations, looks like they gaining in popularity while others seem to be loosing their appeal doesn’t it?

I'll take a stab at this one...The Dixie Chicks do have talent and have put out some very good albums. The problem I have with them, is after thier lead singer made her famous comments regarding President Bush and the back lash started, ...they then made public statements that they were not interested in selling albums to the so called "Country Music" crowd.....

The same "Crowd" that made them RICH and FAMOUS...

They probably will continue to be "profitable" but not on the scale they were used to...

True colors sometimes come out...if you **** off the fans that made you famous...just move your genre..and make some new ones.....

How in the hell did they gain six grammy's? I haven't heard a Dixie Chicks song on the radio in years?

That's like saying Maddona really has talent..???

No not really seeing that there are very few country acts that I really care for, but there latest is more
Rock so it is rather good.

Never heard of John Boy and Billy but the way they are described sounds a lot like one of my favs Walton & Johnson.
