Compass Leaked - Which Fluid to refill with ?

Question about says it all. Fluid leaked from bulb socket seal since replaced. I have seen threads on this before but do not remember where. Your imput is appreciated. Thanks

Ritchie compasses use odorless mineral spirits.

Any drug store.

In Aircraft, we call them whiskey compasses...
We use a product that smells just like turpintine, but I'm sure it's the same as JB mentioned....

At west marine they sell Ritchie SH-0154 Compass Fulid.
Bottle I have is a 1 pound bottle.
