Internet Explorer 7.0 - install or no?

Automatic updates is trying to install ie 7.0 and I'm not so anxious to be the first to try it out. LOL!

Anyone else have it installed? It is good or a major headache.

I installed it and works well for me.

Ayuh,.......

I couldn't get the Auto-Updater to drop it altogether,.....
So,.... I Installed it........

After maybe 10 minutes,....
I picked a Back up date prior to the Up-date,+ Back-Dated My 'puter.......
Effectively, Uninstalling it.........

I didn't care for the New IE...........
I don't see the need for Change,.. just for the sake of a Change.....

I have it, seems to run a little faster on dsl,
the tool bar is a little differant, and ya have to get used to it, but all and all they do the same thing, just seems that 7 is faster and has more security to me...........

I havent had any problems with it, I rather prefer it to the older versions.

It downloaded and worked fine on three of ours. I prefer FireFox 2.0.

IE 7.0 borrowed some of the look and feel of FF.

I haven't seen it cause any problems that would affect an home user yet. I don't care for the new toolbar but it's nice to have tabs in IE. I still prefer Firefox, but do have IE7 on my laptop and it hasn't caused me any problems.

I tried it and thought it was just too much toolbars and crap! microsoft can keep it!

Tried the beta version a few months back. Yes, Mark42, I see the final version on the update list. (IMO) The 7.0 version reminded me a bit of yahoo which pushes the envelope at prioritizing itself upon the computer.

I also used "restore" to dump it.

When I was working to get a nasty virus off my sisters computer, I was told by an online security forum tech support person that I should upgrade to IE 7.0 because it is more secure than the old version.

I use Firefox myself...
