I need some Ideas as to What Bees Wax is Good For,.........

A couple years ago, I built a driveway for an Fella who'd retired from the N.Y. DEConservation, been a Game Warden for many years......
He'd gotten into Bee Keeping to keep himself Busy......
The guy was a Real Go Getta,...... for in his late 70s.....
Anyways,.....
I'd mentioned that I needed a little piece of Bees Wax to Lube my cutting tools when working with Aluminum,.....
He wandered out of the Barn with a Block of Wax that weighs maybe 5 or 6 Lbs.......
Then later, I picked up another bag elsewhere of some small pieces,... maybe another 3 or 4 lbs,.......
For keeping my tools free of metal build-up,..... I've used about 1/8th Oz. ,.....
Ayuh, it Don't take Much......

Now that I've got this Stuff,..... I've been Trying it for Lots of Things,.........
So far,.... The Best use,.. again it only takes Very Little,.. I've Rubbed it onto the Zippers on my Carhart Jumpsuits,+ Overalls,.....
Ya know, the big long leg zippers,..... They work like Silk now,.........

So,............
Other than Waxing my Aluminum Cutters,+ Slicking my Zippers,..........
Anybody got any Other things I can do with this Stuff,..??....??...........

from what I understand, thats how they used to get a very high gloss from finished wood, tables, gun stocks etc.

With 5lbs of wax I bet you could shine a lot of furniture.

Waterproofing boots and other leather products. You would want to melt it obviously....

I use it in my leather car seats and I also use it on my concrete countertops. To burn it in candles seems like a waste.

Wut da heck. Make a candle or two. You just might prefer it to parafin. They do smell better compared to unscented parafin.

I use it for finishing gun stocks - easy formula 1:1:1 Beeswax:Turpentine:Boiled Linseed Oil. This gives you the perfect finish on stocks - matte, waterproof, and not sticky. It's the ideal finish for a stock, esp. military like my M1 below...
