I almost ran over a puppy earlier this week. It was in the middle of nowhere and it looked like it was living in a hollow log 10 yards off the road. She looks like a black lab and about 14 weeks old, best guess. Well it went under the car and I coaxed it out with dog biscuits that all good salesmen in my line of work carry.
I got it into the car, got it some food and water and took it to the vet to check for a microchip and inspect it for overall health. It was malnurished but in ok shape. It ate like no other dog I have ever seen.
Well telling the story to the girls back in the office I found out that the customer service manager had to put down his yellow lab last week. He had been talking it over with his wife the past few days and they were looking for a black lab, but a female this time. Well guess what, the pup is a black lab and a female. Steve stopped over a picked it up last night. His comment was that the stars couldn't be more correctly alleigned so this had to be their dog. It will be his girls extra little christmas present. 6 acres of land for the dog to play in and his daughter is involved in competitive training so the dog will get tons of attention.
