I have a green "stain" on the waterline this year after using WestMarine On/Off.

Can I just paint over this in the spring?

FBT - I believe that is just the copper in the bottom paint migrating to the surface. Will do no harm if left that way, but if you're concerned about looks, just brush some paint over it. I wouldn't scrub too much if it's an ablative paint - might take the paint right off.
