I am looking for the Johnson Shipmaster and steering kit. Do any of yall know where I can find them?

They are on e-bay all the time. Make sure you get the cables with the control, even if they are no good or wrong length. The cable ends are part of the control and don't come with new cables.

this is the best of the 3 on ebay now, 60's version, keep checking for the older 50's version

Unless you are a stickler for correctness, the '60s version is much better than the '50s version. It will work just fine on '50s motors.
