Is a 1993 200GT johnson a good solid motor or one to stay away from? Is this particular model know to be reliable or problematic?

I puchased a boat with a 1993 Johnson 200 GT three years ago. It has given me many hours of worry free service. Like any used motor, car, lawn mower, girl friend.....ect... it all depends on how well the previous owner treated her.

Get a test ride if you can before purchase and do all the usual checks.
