Wife: "Honey..... What are You Looking for?"
Husband : "Nothing."
Wife :"Nothing? You've been reading our marriage certificate for an hour."
Husband: "I was just looking for the expiration date."
____________________________________________________________________
Wife : "Do you want dinner?"
Husband : "Sure, what are my choices?"
Wife : "Yes and no."
_____________________________________________________________________
Wife: "You always carry my photo in your handbag to the office. Why?"
Hubby: "When there is a problem, no matter how impossible, I look at your picture and the problem disappears."
Wife: "You see, how miraculous and powerful I am for you?"
Hubby: "Yes, I see your picture and say to myself, "What other problem can there be greater than this one?"
____________________________________________________________________
Girl: "When we get married, I want to share all your worries, troubles and lighten your burden."
Boy: "That's very kind of you, darling, But I don't have any worries or troubles."
Girl: "Well that's because we aren't married yet."

A newly married man asked his wife, "Would you have married me if my father hadn't left me a fortune?"
"Honey," the woman replied sweetly, "I'd have married you NO MATTER WHO LEFT YOU A FORTUNE."

Funny but sad.

I hold my marriage of 26 years, so dear.

26 yrs, 31 yrs? how do you guys do it? what your secrets? I think I'm gonna walk down that path soon and frankly, all the mood swings and all the craziness stuff that woman does scare me. I often found myself asking the questions of am I ready to deal with this for the rest of my life and how the heck am I gonna do it?:%

Re: Marriage ...

I don't have any where near the 26 years, or 31 years ... but I can say that my married years have been far more wonderful and fulfilling than my non-married years. I found a wonderful FRIEND and over time that friendship developed. In fact, our first kiss was after we said "I do!" I know, pretty amazing in this day and age, but we wanted to make sure we KNEW each other well before all the romantic stuff kicked in. I respected her for the way she handled her finances, her friendships, troubling and tough times, etc. And she, the same towards me.

Each day truly gets better and better, and the days that I am in a foul mood, or she is, we remember that it is the friendship that binds us together. I love my wife more today than the day I married her, and I expect that to continue, each and every day.

We tease alot, but she is the one and only love of my life. I would be totally lost without her - and I don't hesitate to let her know that.

That's how I did/do it, gonefishie!

And.. one more thing......

A newly married man asked his wife, "Would you have married me if my father hadn't left me a fortune?"
"Honey," the woman replied sweetly, "I'd have married you NO MATTER WHO LEFT YOU A FORTUNE."

So true that it's not amusing.. In my experience, this applies to 99.9% of women in south Florida.....

LOL @ ^^^^^

21 years and counting here. Man, I got whacked upside the head by one of those mood swings last night, but I will say Mr. bait and potentially Mr. fishie are gonna be awfully lonely someday. Pretty cool when the HOTD lives in your house . . .

It's easy. Just realize that you are not the only person on the planet.

Re: Marriage ...

I was very close to popping the question last summer, Mr. QC.... Glad I did'nt, now that I see what I was getting into... Still boggles my mind how a woman so beautiful on the outside could be so ugly on the inside, and it's not like i was looking for Wonder Woman either...

I started seeing someone a few months ago... Looked like it might actually go somewhere, untill I got the "you should look elsewhere" a few days ago...:'( I think I know why, and can't fault her for it if the reason is so (family stuff), but the jury is still out on the truth of the matter.. (i've found women have trouble with the truth)

This thread sounds like the chat inside the clubhouse at the Hemale Woman Haters Club.

Anyone ever heard of a mirror?

Snapper,

Not casting blame. I just realized a long time ago that my way isn't always the best way.
