Do you prefer mud or snow?

Do any of you guys go ATVing or Snowmobiling? Personally I prefer the fresh, cool powder to the mud and sludge. I usually snowboard but I tried snowmobiling and now I'm hooked. Snow gear can be pricey but I found that outdoorchannel.com is giving a garage full of free gear. Pure Awesomeness!

I have a 4wheeler and I like them both, but maybe the mud a little more than snow.

I used to live up north and the snow was fun.
Here in North Carolina we never get much snow at all.Just freezing rain. So the 4 wheelers,dirtbikes and mud are the fun here.

I love both. I also quite enjoy skiing and snowboarding. I will be back up in AK soon!!!

I like the spring till fall personally !! Winter is O.K. but in the cold weather I prefer walking the dogs then the gas fireplace and a hockey game !!!!!

Definately snow. Not a big fan of dirt. You get done playin' in the snow, you don't have to spend the rest of the day cleaning the mud off. Downside, is its cold...

Plus, when you eat it, snow can be more comfortable than rocks, unless you eat it into a tree. Or a rock....

Snow, mud, dirt, it makes no difference as long as you are playing! THAT is the important part! I prefer snow, but will take playing any way I can get it!

I just hope I win that free gear. I kinda messed up my friend's snowmobile; don't think he'll let me use it for awhile. i checked back at outdoor channel's website and saw that fishing lure's is part of the giveaway. i know, fishing lures? i'll give those to my uncle, that is if i win...or if any of you feel generous and feel like donating a snowmobile, that would be equally awesome!8)

Nope...I have plenty of scars from my more hardcore mountain biking days. Now, my mountain biking isn't as extreme. Nice, fast singletrack is my thing now. That whole downhilling and jumping stuff stopped years ago...Lots o' tree rash from that stuff...
