I wonder if the Aussies didn't get as sick of playing game after game as we got of watching.
We let them take the trophy home tho.......
Personally I wonder if there wasn't just too much cricket.
After a rest, the Aussies will be back with a vengance.
Cheers
Phillip

An Aussie gracefull in victory, the other ones got bells on Aldo:}

I had to smile at Phill's comment, from what I saw the Aussie fans didn't start leaving the SCG untill it was certain that England would win.

TO MUCH CRICKET, there are only 365 days in a year how can you have to much cricket.

I thought about going over to the Windies but then I saw the cost. No way.

My money is on an India/Australia final with India just nicking it.

I was born in England to Italian parents and raised in Australia. Between the ages of 7 and 14, my nickname was 'Pommy wog bastard'.

I'll take 'aussie' anyday o:)

I heard some people at a party in England talking about Paki-bashing. Some kinda new sport I think . . .

My friend in WA uses a gun to shoot a 'roo, then he uses dynamite to blow up the 'roo carcass to spread lots of blood and pieces over a wide area, this is used as bait for foxes that he shoots for fun :^ Maybe they should try dressing up in cute little costumes, riding horses, add in about 30 dogs and chasing them up a tree? Can foxes climb trees? Do the dogs ever get to eat the foxes? Do foxes taste like chicken?

Re: Hailing all Australian members

There's nothing new about Paki-bashing, its been around for many decades, years ago you could book a holiday with Thomas Cook and as part of the package you could specify how many you would like to shoot:% (I don't know if there was any discount for bulk purchase8)). If you couldn't afford the holiday all you needed to do was join the British army, then you were allowed to shoot as many as you liked, men were even given medals for doing the job well. Alas due to the decline of the British Empire and a few PC libs putting thier oar in this is no longer the case (in fact your not even allowed to own them anymore).8):love:8)

As for fox hunting, this is one of the corner stones of British country life, there's nothing like a good gallop across the open country, jumping hedges and ditches on horseback, following a pack of hounds which in turn are hot on the trail of THE FOX. Great sport old man.
To answer your questions QC: Foxes can't climb trees, Yes the dogs get to eat most of the foxes they catch, yes fox does taste like chicken.

Now for a laugh, the English government has recently outlawed the hunting of foxes with hounds (your still allowed to shoot as many as you like) they have not however outlawed the hunting of rabbits with hounds, if while hunting rabbits the hounds accidently find a fox which they chase and kill thats O/K as a hound cannot be held legaly accountable for it's actions. The members of the hunt do have to prove that they did everything in thier power to stop the hounds running down the fox, they do this by ridding at a gallop jumping hedges and ditches trying to catch the hounds before they get to the fox8)8)
