I just got this email form a buddy....now..I for one don't know all the facts...I wasn't there...I only saw a portion of the news article...but this makes me think the writer maybe right.......but it's something to think about and discuss....

"TEEN SHOOTING IN SALT LAKE CITY
We've all heard about the teenager who killed five people at a mall in Salt Lake City. On Fox News last night I heard the kid described as a Bosnian.
My guess is that in just a few days we'll find out that this kid was a Muslim.
Let's see just how wrong I am here.

Well, wouldn't you just know it? It turns out that I wasn't wrong at all!
Sulejmen Talovic was a Muslim immigrant from Bosnia.

When he went into that shopping center yesterday he had a backpack that was loaded down with ammunition, a shotgun and a 38 caliber handgun. It seems clear to Salt Lake City law enforcement that he wanted to kill as many people as he could. Thankfully the police sent him to his eternal sand nap.

Now .. here's your assignment for the day. Watch the mainstream media in this country. See how many newspapers or how many radio or TV broadcasts identify Talovic as a Muslim. Relevant? You're damned right it's relevant. We are at war against Islamic fascism. Muslim fascism. The chosen tactic of our enemy in this war is terrorism. They chose to attack civilians and kill as many as they can so as to spread terror amongst the civilian population. This Muslim went into a public shopping center with a pretty good amount of firepower and just started randomly killing people. What is the difference between Talovic and someone who would walk into a restaurant and detonate a bomb? The goal is the same. Kill people at random. The tactic is the same .. terrorize. You don't think the other people in that shopping center yesterday weren't terrorized? The only difference between this particular Muslim and one who might blow himself up in an Israeli restaurant is location and weaponry.

I can't check every newspaper and watch every TV newscast ... so help me out here. I believe you'll be hard pressed to find any references to the fact that this shooter was a Muslim. After all .... we certainly don't want to offend any one, now do we?
You know ... I think we can find a way to blame this all on either George Bush or on global warming."

I think Tom Clancy needs to stop writing novels . . .

He imagined a disgruntled Japanese citizen that was still angry about Hiroshima flying a 747 into congress. That was about 10 years ago.

He imagined Islamic terrorists entering through the Mexican border and shooting up a bunch of people in a mall . . . that was around 3 years ago. Hmmmmm.

Look out for an assault on our economy by hacking into our electronic trading systems and causing a bunch of fake trades that results in a complete sell-off that rivals any market crash ever seen.

A dirty bomb at the Super Bowl . . .

Bio/disease terror unleashed at the Olympics that almost causes a mass human extinction so that enviro freaks could realise a pristine planet just for themselves.

It always sounds outrageous until it happens . . . But it's OK, they're all frustrated and desperate, it can't be that they lack morality and "good" values because that's just an individual concept that doesn't have hard rules to rely on. Ya know, the whole "who decides" debate. Look at the IRA, they're good guys now, they just needed to blow up a bunch of people for a while and they're nice now. Hamas has tried hard to emulate them. I guess the same will happen in Iraq when we split, they'll just stop blowing each other up cause they're really just mad at us.

(OBL may still have enough $ to buy an old foriegn flaged scow or three, [there fairly cheap, n' the bunker oil is easy ta get in some parts o' the world]). #2 One or three Scud type missiles. (Old, reliable, low tech, very available n' fuel is fairly cheap). #3 Old atom type Uranium bomb from NK, Pakistan, Iran, [once they make one], or newer style thermal type from Russia's stockpile; take your pick: either would work real good. #4 Hang out a 100 miles or 300 from either coast. #5 Torch it off to a couple hundred miles above the center of the Country, (say over the Miss. river), n' let 'er rip. Ponder the EMP. Most chips in most of our modern gagits would cease to work. We would truly be set back to an earlier era where most electronic things would need to be rebuilt to function. Thank Patty Murry, the brain who voted with all the rest of her Dem buds to delay our missile defence system. JR

Still, it's interesting that not one of the 20 reports I looked at said anything about the kid being Moslem.

Maybe he was just a disturbed kid, (although none of his family saw this coming) or maybe he wanted to get his share of the virgins before they are all used up, can't ask him....

Still, not one mention.... not one.

Hmmmmm, Guess you can point to lots o' terror in the name of God, Allah, Jehova et al from other believers of other religions. Muslim lite eh? If I remember right, the USSR had a plan to detonate 5, 50 MT thermonuclear devices spread evenly across the US at, I think, 100,000 ft. That would have EMP’ed every unprotected circuit in the US. Any bomb carried by a Scud that was bought on the black market, used in this way, most likely would only be felt about 200 miles away.

I don’t think OBL would get as much bang for his buck this way as he would by tossing one at NY. or DC. set for say, 1500 ft?

I dunno Crunch I guess I will have ta look up Franks' article. I read it and it had additional buzz at the time that did not refute his claim. If ya get a blast at 200 miles up the EMP effects are for many many miles, (that's my memory of it anyway), hope you are right. JR

I hope I'm not, I'd love to see a fizzle instead of a bang.

The one thing I know they have thought of, because I did, is a dirty bomb made from used, highly radioactive nuke fuel with a glue binder(epoxy comes to mind only because it would be so effective) A few lbs. of C4 wrapped in a couple of gallons of the hardener and epoxy, wrapped in the waste

Even if used at street level, there is no way to decontaminate the area short of sandblasting every surface... then what would you do with the contaminated waste?

It's the poor mans nuke, and if used, would render an area uninhabitable for 1,000's of years.
