Can you post a year royman? Did you try killing the engine with the emergency kill switch....if you have one?

Welcome to iboats. Also, check your wiring from you key switch all the way back to the powerpack. Black and yellow wire is your kill. OBJ is right about needing the model number. It sure helps to know about what year you are talking about.

as mentioned the blk yel wire off keyswitch is kill,check and make sure it is attached to switch and also a blk.ground.the key switch puts ground to the powerpack,killing the engine,if either wire is not connected to the switch it cant kill,also check the groundwires on the engine,possibility of the ground to kill switch is disconnected, check the main plug,if the contacts that join the necessary wires are dirty ,with corrosion its possible the problem could be there as well
