Sugar Sand - Sport Jet 125

Can anyone tell me what I might do to get my sport jet to plane - just will not happen unless you put lots of weight in the front end? Also, will a 175 sport jet fit in the same place where the 125 is now?

either you engine is not performing or your stearn heavy, could the hull (foam) be water logged. did it plane before? or is this a new boat to you?

If you're getting full RPMs but not full thrust, you need a new impeller and wear ring. The gap between the impeller and wear ring is crucial to developing full thrust. If the gap is too big, thrust is critically reduced.

No you can't fit a V-6 to that base. You'd have to change everything.
