Any opinions or experience with Kencraft boats

I'm looking at buying a 19 foot Center Console for inshore use. There is a 2002 Kencraft 190 Challenger for sale near me along with a 1998 Wellcraft 19CC. The Kencraft is in great shape and seems to be made well but I don't know much about the maker. Anybody familiar with them?? I'm familiar with Wellcraft but don't have any personal experience with them. Any insight is appreciated.

Thanks,
Paul

I don't know the Kencrafts in detail, but there are plenty of fans over on www.TheHullTruth.com . Very, very small builder compared to Wellcraft. They have recently "reinvented themselves" so to speak. Now building similar designs that are of woodfree construction and sold at a little lower prices. New name for this line is Sea King.

Thanks for the input. Is the wood core something to worry about with a 2002? The boat has been very well taken care of and use sparingly.
