Awww, shucks Heycods. Sorry about that.:'(

I sure wish that system had dropped about 6" of what came here on your place instead.

Haven't looked at the rain guage this AM, but I am guessing about 3 more inches last night. That would put me close to 15" for the week.

I think there have been several years since I came here that I didn't get that much in a year.

I`m Down in the dump today. Im afraid that was THE chance for spring rains, none in the forecast for next week. Northern areas of the County had reports of over 6" yesterday. I have been driving around the county this AM, And we must have been SUPER DRY, because the areas that recieved large rains still have tanks that arent full!

Most Texas "tanks" are for watering livestock, Murky, but also for raising fish and general recreation.

I think some use them for irrigation, but it is unusual because when you need irrigation is when there is the least water for the critters.

Short term, I am selling water to a gas drilling outfit for fracturing their wells. My large tank drains about 400 acres of badly eroded land so it fills quickly with any t'storm.

Hopefully this will get the Brazos flowing to wash out L.Granbury and Whitney. As far as L. Arlington, Its full. Maybe this will help out the lakes east of my area.
