One of the deck drains at the rear of my boat is broken and instead of draining into the rubber tube and out the side of the boat it drains into my bilge. I was trying to find a replacement and have searched for deck drains, floor drains. deck hardware, and hatches and can't find one. Does anybody know what those drains are called? Maybe if I knew what to call it my search would come up with one.

Ok back again. I thought I had it with scupper but a scupper drains through the transom mine drains through the floor. I am back looking again. Anybody know what a floor drain is called or where I might order one online?

Is the fitting broken, or is it the pipe that goes from the fitting to the splashwell?

Re: Little help with proper terminology

It is the fitting that is broken. Let me try explain. In the floor of my boat at the transom on each side I have a plastic drain, It's about 2" in diameter with holes drilled in it for water to drain into, under the deck the drain connects to a rubber hose that drains outside the boat just above the water line. It sort of serves the same purpose as self bailing scuppers. The part of the drain that connects to the rubber hose is broken off so water that drains into the drain ends up in my bilge.

Re: Little help with proper terminology

That is exactly what I was looking for ...thanks. The starboard side is broken and the one on the port side has a crack in it. At first I intended to replace both of them, think I'll just replace the bad one at that price.
