Volvo 280 bellows

So, I'm in the process of replacing the bellows and I noticed that the exhaust bellow on the boat has a flapper, the one I ordered does not.

Should I order the one with the flapper?

Nope, some 280's didn't have the external flappers on the exhaust port of the drive. Those are the ones that use the bellows with the flappers inside the bellows.

HELP ! Forgive me if I'm posting in the wrong spot! I have to replace the Drive Bellow on my Volvo Penta 280 (d) . I remove all the bolts but the top won't come all the way off and can't get it separated from the U-joints! Am I missing something? Oh and I am now unable to get the top of the out drive back in place. Saturday Is the 3 and likely last day of sun in Rochester NY This is an emergency! Thanks
