I need to replace a control box in a 1997 ranger r70 sport. Looking for any info on removing the whole box for replacement. There seems to be no access to the back of the unit, whats the secret? The boat has been in the shop for the last 6 weeks, mechanic keeps saying he's waiting on parts, I dont know if hes blowing smoke or what. I've hounded the guy and can get no answers, he's done well for me before but im beginning to question whether he even knows how to do it. I've had to fish the last 3 tourneys as a co angler. If I can find some info I may just order the parts and do the work on my own. If I knew it was going to take this long I could've taken a class to do it myself. Any info would be helpful.
