Thanks, Blu.. It was the first red I ever caught from shore without a net or jaff.
The blasted critters put-up a fight like a tarpon, only not as long-winded. Still, she took about 15minutes to tire enough to reach down and grab her.
I wish we had sturgeon (SP) and salmon down here. Those look like a hoot to hook.
If you're ever down this way, the inshore trip is on me (I know some nice red and snook spots). But I have no boat right now.... lookin at a Cajun w/90HP merc on it, but still not happy with the price.
