1997 Mariner 25hp

just bought this motor; previous owner of course did not have the manual. I need to determine the spark plug gap and fuel/oil ratio. where is the best place to find this info online?

pretty sure the ratio would be 50:1, but I would like to know what others think

You will have much better luck posting your request in the Mercury/Mariner forum -- this is the Johnson/Evinrude forum. If you intend to service the engine yourself, do yourself a favor and buy a service manual specific to your engine.
