Exhuast Outlet

I just bought a Regal LSR with a 3.0 litre Volvo with the SX cobra outdrive. I was wondering where the exhuast exits. I thought it exited out of the prop but when I ran it in my driveway, The water and eshaust seemed to be coming from the transom aruond the drive. Also if anyone can let me know about any quirks with this motor and drive. Ive had mercruisers before. This is my first Volvo. Thanks

An SX drive will route the exhaust out thru the prop, along with some water. There are on some SX units, exhaust outlets above the ventilation plates right below where the rams attach to the outdrive. Water and exhaust can also exit from a few places on the gimbal housing. these outlets come in handy while in reverse.

No quirks. Shifting is smoother than the Crusiers
