I have a 1993 Evinrude 120. I has the manual oil injection box. I took it out Saturday and the buzzer started to go off. I cut the engine and primed the bulb and restarted the motor and it quit. 20 min later it went off again. Cut it off again and re-primed and it was good for another 20 min.
I came home and drained the oil looking for trash but it was clean. So was the clear screen that sits on bottom of of box.
The question i have is when i put the pickup/float(not sure what its called/ the thing the bulb connects to that goes on top of box) back in box with no oil, the bulb is still primed(hard and cant squeeze).
Is it susposed to be like this or is the primer bulb bad? What else can i check?
Thanks,
Don
