how easy is it to change the fuel pump kit and a step by step if possible

i got the kit here which comprises of

4 cardboard gaskets
1 rubber gasket (which i guess is the diaphram)
1 small rubber seal
1 large rubber seal
2 cork seals
1 metal filter

Hammy, That sounds like the repair kit for the fuel screen/fuel pump. The cork gaskets go under the check valves. A "cardboard" gasket goes on each side of the diagrahm. The large O-ring seals the fuel screen cover. There is a small plastic (dime sized) gasket that goes under the phillips heas fuel screen cover.

Simple enough to remove the fuel screen cover and replace the orings and screen. Now split the pump and remove the check valve clamp and replace the gaskets. Now replace the diagrahn and gaskets and you should be good. Make sure the pulse hoses are clamped tight. Those motors need all the fuel the pump can supply.
