Hi all,
I have 2 questions if you dont mind.
1. my 115 starts and runs fine. when I turn the engine off some gas drips from the top and bottom carbs out the throat but gas also drips from the bottom of the carbs also. It is not gas that comes out of the carb and drips off the bottom, it actually seems to be dripping from the screw on the bottom of thr carb. The screws are tight.

2. In the attached picture you can see a wire in the red box. I have no idea where this wire goes??. It comes out of the harness from the main plug. I cant seem to find it on my diagram from a clymer manual.
Thanks in advance,
Bob

Your carbs need to be rebuilt. Can't see the wire cause the picture is too small.

Thanks,
I posted a bigger picture of the wire, it should be clickable to enlarge. Can a carb rebuild and adjustment be done by a do it yourselfer?
Thanks for your reply

Is the wire just loose? Is it bare on the end? Can you see what color it is? If it is faded... have a peek back at where it is wrapped in the main harness... where it is wrapped up, it shouldl be easier to see the original color.

Does you have a pic from further back? Hard to see where you're looking at.

Thanks Guys,
i guess its the wire to nowhere. When removing carbs for a rebuild is there a special wrench to get at the nuts on the top starboard side of the carbs?
Thanks

Bob, To remove the carbs, I use a 7/16" box wrench or a rachet. The starter is in the way obviously. On my '77 I also have the distributor in the way, but I dont want to remove it. I can just get the nuts off.
