hi,i had boat and motor thrown together real fast and was wondering if there is anyway to tell if the outboard is really maxed out when the hammer is down.i don't think the guy worried about adjusting anything to make it right.
You will need to know the RPM range is for your setup. Report back what you are getting for RPM's at WOT now and people can sugguest changes that can help. Proping and adjustments
You need to know what your RPM is at WOT, speed at WOT, prop pitch and gear ratio and then you can calculate slip which tells you how efficient your setup is.
im getting 5300 rpm when trimmed up 90% but i was wondering how do i know my outboard is maxed out when i have the throttal all the way down is there anything to look for or adjust to make sure
