Which Seloc book for 1967 Meteor?

I am trying to get the correct SELOC book from amazon for a 1967 Golden Meteor 100HP.

There is this one:

1306 Johnson/Evinrude 50-125 hp 3 and 4 cylinder 2-stroke Outboards 1958-1972 Repair Manual ASIN: B0001WTJRM

What is vol 3? Is the cheaper book ok?

I don't understand the difference between the 2 books.

I think one is newer stock. Buy the cheaper one

This one is for an Evinrude. Same thing as a the same year Johnson? I'm a Merc man and not very familiar with others. This boat is my dad's.

He is not interested in tearing it down to needle bearings. He needs something to tell him how to operate and maintain the motor mostly. He has nothing right now and never owned a boat previously.

they are the same engine different paint. you need the real manual, either one.
