2002 150hp Johnson/ Bombardier Idle speed Problems PLEASE HELP!!

Hey guys i recently bought a 2002 hydra-sports 212 cc with a 150hp johnson on it when i first put it in the water it ran a little shakey till i got to open her up the she ran fine. After sitting for two weeks she starts right up idles fine but as soon as i put it in forward gear and go to bring it up over 1000 rpm she stalls right out, if i make it to the bay and punch it she runs fine. as soon as i bring it back down to arround 1000 rpm she stalls again, also i am havin problems with getting the engine in neutral i have to shake the throttle up and down to get neutral.and she sometimes stalls in reverse. So im wondering bad gas? I changed plugs and fuelfilter no diffrence. Do u guys think these problems are related or common on these motors, or did i buy the wrong boat??????????????

Any suggestions on what the culprit could be would be greatly appreciated

mid range jets in the carbs are clogged. idle speed in gear F or R, should be 650-700. or she needs a link & sinc. which is in the Johnson manual for your specific engine. see your dealer for the johnson manual.

I have this exact motor and now a few people that have it they seem to be very fussy and if not set up perfect they don't run right. We took it to the dealer and they didn't even get it running right. Your better off getting a manual and doing it yourself if you have tools and the now how.
