Moving my boat to a slip in a salt water area 2 miles from Ocean and concerned about motor corrosion. I have a raw water cooled Mercrusier, changed all the anodes on the outdrive but not sure about the internals of the motor. Should I be concerned about salt water corrsion internally to the engine or are marine engines built to take it?

Welcome to iboats......:)
All you can do is flush it with fresh water after each use, which is mandatory for any hope of a reasonable service life.........
There is nothing about a marine engine that makes it any more resistant to salt water other than the brass core plugs......;)

You may want to consider a neutra salt type system. I just installed mine on a Volvo that has the engine mounted raw water pump. If you have a Bravo with the same type pump you could install on yours. Not sure how you would do it on an alpha with the drive mounted pump.

Yep. Exhaust manifolds & risers will be a maintenance issue for you.
Are you running an aluminum prop or SS? If SS, you may want to look into a Mercathode system - just anodes are probably not gonna cut it for protecting the outdrive.

Thanks for the advice, It's a 4.3 Alpha on a 24 ft deck boat 2002 and Running an aluminium prop. I heard of an aftermarket flush system called Super Flush that will work with the boat in the water and with the motor not running any experience out there with that gizmo?
