i bought a 1972 imp aztec, 20' . tandum axel trailer, surge breaks, supose to run but he couldn;t get it to start. $900.00 so i bought it. was looking over a few things that need fixin and found that all the fuses are 30amps! #&%@$* so i have some wireing i need to go through to find out why he did this. my question is, what size fuses do i need for everything. not sorry for buying boat, a little carb adjustment and it does start up every time, sounds good. i/o 350gm 245hp omc outdrive. i wish i knew more about boats before going to buy it, didn't realize there were so many things to go over. found the skeg is broken off as well....any fixes for the skeg?

Just wait until you try to find parts for that OMC outdrive! The wiring and skeg will be small problems in comparison. Actually the missing skeg is not a problem. Run it. You could cut one off a junk motor and have it welded on if it really bothers you.

A prop shop like James' Propeller in Carrollton (or used to be there) does it. If not there hit www. They have a site. They may have moved their facility to Lake Fork......have a vague recollection of that.
