I am not sure what wheels to put on my truck.....nothing has 'stuck out' so to speak.
So you don't have to go to the other thread for a look at the truck, here it is

My brother in NZ has probably done 20, maybe 30 rods and rebuids in his life and reckons I should use the Ralley, with a Ford hub cap, and a really deep trim, and paint centre silver.
Here is what he is talking about, but with the Ford Cap on mine.

I am tending toward the Ford Gennie wheels. They come either;
No. 1. bare...paint silver, add trim and cap or
No. 2. Chrome outer, bare inner (paint silver) and Ford Cap or
No. 3. full chrome with Ford Cap

here is No. 1

here is No. 2

and here is No. 3

The web site to see these is:

http://www.wheelvintiques.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/index.html

under "steel wheels", there is a big range, plus there is a big range of Hub Caps too.

Seeing the colours I used on the truck look like an 'Ester Williams swimsuit', I feel I am limited to using the colour silver for any paint I put on the wheels. If you think otherwise, please say so.

I need to buy these in the Long Beach Ca. area for ease in shipping.

So here is the request:

what do you blokes think????????????????

I need a wheel that suits the truck, and i don't want it looking like a 'pansy's truck' either.

I intend to use 31x10x15 tryes, and I want them to be a road tyre, like those in the brothers picture above.....not a truck type tyre with nobs and deep wide tread.

I was hoping to lower the truck, so the wheel arch was just above the wheel...so nothing too radical.

Any suggestions, comments or ideas would be very much appreciated.
Spots and me will consider anything.
Thanks Chaps.
Cheers
Phillip

Not much you can about that at this point.... :)

The rally wheels look too much like a chevy.

I like number 3 myself.

I would go with #1 & paint the inner the same blue that is on the truck.

Yeah, I think I like the logo on #3 and agree with Stevie on color . . .

Yup, I agree with SR on #1 with the truck color. I had slotted "Ansen Sprint" mags on my F250 factory 4x4 high boy with 12" wide mud tires, (which they don't make those mags anymore), n' they were beefy enough to not get damaged when I was stump jumpin' n' they looked very nice. They make "center line" (I think that is the name), heavy duty mags that look very kool on trucks with large tires as well. JR

I like the wheels you have on the back - in chrome ... so it doesn't look like a "pansy's truck."

I like the #2 wheel, with the colored parts painted blue. Kind of an elegant wheel for that truck. Here in NW Florida I can't remember that last time I saw an old Ford that DIDN'T have your back "wagon wheel" rim on four corners. That is a very popular wheel here, but not necessarily the best choice.

The blue weels look the best.
