I sold an early to mid nineties Suzuki 2 stroke 9.9 With oil injection for about $300. I only ran it 3 or 4 times, and it was too heavy for a kicker on my Bayliner. I never anticipated I would need it for anything. I sold it in 1998 or so, pre-e-bay. I have been looking and haven't seen another one like it.

A 1956 Chevy 2-door station wagon. Plum and Ivory.

Oh wait; you were asking about outboards!

Cars are sure like that too.....if I still had all those cool cars I had way back then.........

I'd be broke paying storage fees for all those rusty cars :(

At least an outboard can be propped up in the corner of the bedroom... :)

My first 1957 holiday bronze and white Johnson.
I replaced it with 2 more of the same.
Also,a 1967 Mercury 500 with Thunderbolt ignition. It was a great little engine, but maintenance was hell for a guy with huge hands like mine.

1963 Johnson 3 hp. I'd give a $1000 to have that motor back.

And I know none of you have it so don't bother!!! lol

I had an early 60's 3 hp Johnson too and it was a great model. But, my favorite was the Tohatsu/Nissan 70 A model from 1989 that I had. It was 210 lbs and ran perfectly up until I sold it off in 2000. Now if only the poor guy I sold it to could get a water pump impeller...

My father regrets selling his old Merc 20. Not sure the year, 70's sometime. Super fast and never gave him a lick of trouble.

We as a family regret selling our old 76 Johnson 55. After putting a ton of money into getting it running, it couldn't have ran better. It was almost scary how good that ol' motor ran.
