V4 looper 140hp versus I4 suzuki DF150

the displacement of the suki is a lot bigger than the johnyrude.
the 4v looper 140 carbed is on a 20'mako center console.
the I4 150 4stroke VVT suki on a 19' grady white dual console.

do i have any chance beating the suzuki with the v4 looper 140???

i found this old post,

and the answer is i did beat the 150 suzuki with trhe 140 looper.

i do believe the 19' grady was a litle havier than my 20' mako.

Boat for boat the Mako should be a bit faster - set-ups being equal. But you're not really surprised the 140 was faster are you?

Ya gotta love it when a V4 looper beats any V6. The V6 guy is always left wondering what happened.......

The Suzi DF150 is an in line four.

Boat for boat the Mako should be a bit faster - set-ups being equal. But you're not really surprised the 140 was faster are you?

Ya gotta love it when a V4 looper beats any V6. The V6 guy is always left wondering what happened.......

Had a few people wondering as well when our outfit goes past a bigger motor outfit. I do not handle as well as a sea doo boat in turns but there's a lot of them in my wake in a straight line.
