Changed impeller on 9.9 hp yachtwin

because no water was coming out ...also installed new water pump (Got a kit)
while it was apart attached hose to the copper tube and blew the line clear and water came out of the pee hole. put it all back together and no water came out of the hole after starting it up. ???? what in the heck any ideas???.

One possibility is that you clogged the telltale with crud when you flushed it. Take a piece of weedeater string and run it up the telltale. You also might want to take the telltale hose off the exhaust jacket and make sure it is not clogged there.

Another idea is that whether or not the copper tube made its way properly into the pump grommet like it is supposed to.

Welcome to iboats Cleatus !

Another thing to check...perhaps you forgot to install the impeller key (it locks the impeller to the drive shaft)
