Thanks!

Take a bolt to the store and match it up.
And you need a bottoming tap, and compressed air

Or you can take a regular tap and cut the tapered part off with a grinder...

I saw ARP has "Thread chasing" taps...wouldn't this be better than a regular tap? I'm worried about using a regular tap that cuts....

I've always used a regular one, all it is cutting is crap that doesn't belong in there (unless you cross-thread it).

I bet a "thread-chaser is a bottom tap...
ARP carries good products, but so does your local bolt supply house...

Just buy a good quality bottoming tap and have at it.

Actually, now is a good time to go to Sears and get that Craftsman tap and die set you've always wanted!

Or Kmart, as they carry Craftmans now, cheaper
and they have a nifty socket set to get out rounded-off bolts, with no drilling.

Just came from Sears.....I couldn't find a bottoming tap unless I don't know what I'm looking for....all i saw were taps with the tapered bottom....
