It looks fast and there's no camera tricks but top speed (GPS) is 52mph. Not to bad for a 35 year old boat and there is still a few MPH's to squeeze out of the motor and the work I need to do to the bottom (starts after the 4th) will add more. The nice thing I can do it's WOT all day in about any water. For that matter flat water is kind of boring.
As for the bow shot. I just bungee'ed a tripod to my bow cleat and deck. I'm sure to other boaters it looks funny when doing it but it does get a hell of a shot.

QC, all new except for about 15 seconds. Had to fill in the rest of the song with something.

Its Rush from the new Snakes and Arrows cd. If you get a chance to see them do not let them pass you by. I did in VA. One of the best concerts I have ever been to. They are just that good!

Oh man -- that was fantastic. I don't know how you kept from grinning like a mad idiot in those shots. It looked like lots of fun. What a great sound.

A question. What are those things tucked in on either side of your outdrive? They look like the tops of exhaust manifolds or something.

And what kind of boat is that with the funky port helm and chrome instrument binnacle?
